Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, and cranes efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, HVAC) with various on-site tasks as directed.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and according to instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying heavy objects, and general cleanup.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level role.
- Must be physically able to perform strenuous labor for 8+ hours a day.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
