Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize them in designated storage areas.
- General Labor: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision to aid in construction processes.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure personal and team safety.
- Site Marking: Help with basic site layout, including setting up barriers, cones, and signage.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts consistently (e.g., 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Driver’s License: Valid Class C Driver’s License is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to the job site.
