Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and setting up materials at construction sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and general contractors with various project duties.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites for optimal workflow.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Perform basic measurements, cuts, and preparations as directed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math and reading skills for measuring materials and reading blueprints/safety signs.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not required.
