Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen: Support senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe workplace for everyone.
- Tools & Materials: Help prepare work areas, organize tools, and maintain a clean site after completion.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Learn to identify and resolve common electrical faults under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin training on how to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (or currently completing).
- License: Valid Driver’s License required (must have reliable transportation).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attitude: Strong willingness to learn, punctual, and reliable.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
