Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and concrete pouring operations under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and asphalt pavers with OSHA-certified precision
- Install and maintain structural components like rebar, scaffolding, and formwork
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including confined space entry and trenching procedures
- Perform quality assurance inspections and documentation per NC building codes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including electricians and pipefitters
- Operate GPS survey equipment for grade verification
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience with night shift verification
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid NC Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficiency with CAT 320 excavator and roller compactor operations
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with Bluebeam or similar construction software preferred
- Confined Space Entry certification a plus
