Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and general construction duties.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) following all safety protocols.
- Site Maintenance: Perform site cleanup, including debris removal, waste disposal, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and reports regarding work completed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Schedule: Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
