Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Perform cleanup and debris removal at job sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Assist with basic site layout measurements and marking
- Support team members in completing daily project tasks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Willingness to attend paid safety training sessions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Basic math skills for measurement assistance
- Reliable transportation to job sites
