Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and demolition tasks
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and waste
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying materials
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train on the job!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality/reliability
- Basic understanding of verbal and written English instructions
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (provided by company)
- Team player with positive attitude and collaborative spirit
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
