Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Support: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Basic Tool Operation: Learn to operate and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery under supervision.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations (OSHA standards).
- Trade Support: Provide general assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and roofers.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Attendance: Must have a reliable attendance record and be punctual.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
