Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on residential/commercial sites
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up safety barriers
- Operate basic hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and reporting
- Participate in team briefings and project progress updates
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience necessary
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must have own basic work boots and safety glasses
