Responsibilities
- Assist senior tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and equipment operation
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work zones
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating basic tools
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and supervisor instructions
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Support various trades including carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Adapt to changing project priorities and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety guidelines
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
