Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide paid on-the-job training
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic understanding of English communication
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
