Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled workers, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, by holding materials, mixing concrete, or performing basic tasks as directed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing waste, organizing tools, and adhering to site cleanliness standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
- Measurements & Marking: Help with measuring, cutting, and marking materials under supervision.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills in the construction industry.
- Safety Mindset: Basic understanding of workplace safety; must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors clearly.
- Valid Driver's License: (Preferred) Ability to operate company vehicles or drive to job sites.
