Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment under supervision
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment for proper working condition
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (up to 50 lbs lifting)
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
