Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople on job sites
- Prepare materials and clean work areas daily
- Operate hand tools and light machinery safely
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal
- Learn basic construction techniques through on-the-job training
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and team player mentality
- Basic math skills for material measurements
