Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) and power equipment safely
- Clean and maintain job sites, including debris removal and hazardous waste disposal
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions to complete assigned tasks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Participate in team lifting operations for heavy materials and equipment
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we provide full training!
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
