Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations at all times.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining technical concepts clearly and professionally.
- Equipment Safety: Inspect electrical equipment and tools to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of Texas) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Own or have access to a comprehensive set of hand and power tools.
