Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under supervision.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as directed by foremen.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior construction experience is required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus but not mandatory.
