Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the job site.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including digging trenches, clearing debris, and leveling ground.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and follow basic blueprints and job site instructions.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience is required; training will be provided.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50+ pounds.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work a full-time schedule, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Basic math skills and ability to read basic measurements.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
