Responsibilities
- Operate hand and power tools under direct supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with blueprint interpretation.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level.
- No prior construction experience required; on-site training provided.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
