Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Clean and prepare job sites before and after work shifts.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines strictly.
- Dig trenches and prepare foundations as directed by the foreman.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required. On-the-job training provided.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts.
- Valid ID or Social Security card for employment verification.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
