Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and operate hand/power tools under supervisor guidance
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and report site concerns
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) with proper certification
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Willingness to work outdoors in Miami's climate
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Construction experience a plus but not required
