Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and grading the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior experience required. A strong willingness to learn is the only prerequisite.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work full-time hours.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
