Responsibilities
- Perform essential site preparation tasks, including excavation, loading, and unloading materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and masons with daily operations and job site duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by removing debris and adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Operate basic construction equipment, tools, and machinery under the supervision of a foreman.
- Follow project blueprints and instructions to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Transport heavy materials and supplies to and from the work area efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction terminology and safety protocols is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
