Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including digging, carrying materials, and cleaning work areas.
- Operate basic construction tools and heavy machinery (such as forklifts or skid steers) under direct supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure job site for everyone.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various on-site duties.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
- Basic math skills and ability to read basic instructions or safety signs.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Fort Worth.
- No prior construction experience is required, but any relevant background is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid legal work authorization.
