Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools and equipment (hammers, saws, shovels, power drills) safely and efficiently
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating machinery
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid ID
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Philadelphia area
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Flexibility to work early mornings (6 AM start) and occasional weekends
