Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under the direct supervision of a supervisor.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by removing debris and following cleanup protocols.
- Physical Tasks: Perform heavy lifting, digging, trenching, and other manual labor as required by the project scope.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to and from the job site.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
