Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and digging trenches.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and tools under the direct supervision of foremen.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks such as carrying supplies, mixing concrete, or assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing waste and ensuring proper site organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn new skills in the construction industry.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday).
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Background: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
