Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic machinery and power tools (e.g., generators, pressure washers, drills) under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all site cleanup protocols.
- Support Trades: Provide hands-on support to electricians, carpenters, and plumbers as directed.
- Measurements: Assist in basic measurements and layout tasks using tape measures and levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are more important than prior history.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and simple arithmetic.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work full-time hours.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Background: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
