Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools under supervision to perform basic construction tasks.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Concrete Work: Assist in pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete as needed for foundations or flooring.
- Formwork: Help build and dismantle wooden forms for concrete pouring.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must be willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Basic ability to follow safety protocols and instructions precisely.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED preferred but not strictly required.
