Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment with care and efficiency.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of experienced foremen.
- Support Trades: Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various manual tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of workmanship on the project site.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is necessary; we value attitude and work ethic over expertise.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to understand simple measurements and measurements (e.g., feet, inches).
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle is required to commute to job sites across Miami-Dade County.
- Communication: Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
