Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and organized work area by cleaning up spills, removing trash, and securing tools.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project needs.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn construction trades and a positive attitude toward training.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for full-time shifts.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills required.
- Valid ID: Ability to provide valid government-issued identification.
- Experience: No prior construction experience is required.
