Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and general laborers, with daily tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tool Operation: Learn to operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Measurement: Assist in measuring and marking areas for installation as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, standing, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Basic Skills: Good math skills and the ability to read a standard tape measure.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
