Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks including framing, drywall, and site preparation.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely under supervision.
- Perform general cleanup of work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Transport materials to and from the job site as needed.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic physical stamina and good hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable transportation to the Portland, PA job site.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
