Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and material handling.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and staging areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials as directed by foremen and supervisors.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including digging, tamping, and leveling surfaces.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations strictly at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors for long periods.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from experienced team members.
- Basic math skills for measuring and reading measurements.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly without assistance.
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and reliability.
