Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring the area is safe for work.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and levels, under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assistance with Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by performing necessary tasks to keep projects on schedule.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Help ensure workmanship meets high standards by performing basic checks and reporting issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Teamwork: Must be a collaborative team player who communicates effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and overtime as needed.
