Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the construction site clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Measurements: Help measure and cut materials to required specifications when directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Documentation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
