Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, framing, and general site preparation.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic measurements and cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Demolish structures or debris as directed by supervisors.
- Assist in general site cleanup and organization.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
