Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and debris to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks and setups.
- Operate hand and power tools safely under the direction of a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform general site preparation, including excavation, concrete pouring assistance, and framing support.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by project managers.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long durations.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and estimating quantities.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project needs arise.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
