Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks and organize them on-site.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including digging, shoveling, and cleaning work areas.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by carrying supplies and holding materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and trash.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor work is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
