Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing and preparing job sites, including cleaning debris and operating basic equipment.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and other skilled laborers as needed on various projects.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate power tools and hand tools under supervision.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations.
- Site Security: Secure job sites overnight when required.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or early mornings.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle is necessary for commuting to various job sites.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are preferred but not mandatory.
