Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) with precision and safety
- Assist skilled tradesmen in framing, concrete pouring, and material installation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Transport materials safely using equipment forklifts and carts
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, measuring tools)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexibility for early morning shifts (5:30 AM start)
- Background check and drug screen required
