Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Safely load/un construction materials and equipment
- Perform basic carpentry tasks like framing, formwork, and concrete finishing
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors and foremen
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and safety inspections
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, dust)
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
