Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean, organized work areas by removing debris and hazards
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read blueprints and basic construction plans for task execution
- Perform site cleanup and restoration after project completion
Qualifications
- Previous construction/labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool operation knowledge or willingness to learn
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
