Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical work.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide solutions.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required (valid in Illinois).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, NEC codes, and safety procedures.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
