Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety compliance
- Load/unload construction materials and tools using proper lifting techniques
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks like digging, pouring concrete, and framing
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, levels) and power equipment under supervision
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Basic understanding of verbal/written instructions
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (outdoor environment)
- Valid government-issued ID and authorization to work in the US
