Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Read blueprints and follow construction plans accurately
- Perform demolition, excavation, and basic concrete finishing tasks
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, and light machinery
- Report safety hazards and maintain daily job site logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
