Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trade professionals (carpenters, electricians, framers) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, trash disposal, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials (wood, drywall, concrete) according to blueprints and supervisor instructions.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain).
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
