Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure full safety compliance.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under close supervision.
- Measure and cut materials (wood, drywall, metal) as directed by foremen or supervisors.
- Perform basic digging, trenching, and site preparation duties as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety gear, and site protocols is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
