Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation tasks, including digging, trenching, filling, and leveling the ground.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools (e.g., saws, drills, levels) under supervision.
- Team Collaboration: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and projects.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Documentation: Help with basic site inspections and ensure all work complies with local building codes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to get to the job site in Kansas City, MO.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and work well within a team.
- License: Valid driver's license preferred.
